The recipe of this tasty pastry is very simple: prepare shortcrust dough according to classical proportions 3-2-1 (flour, butter, sugar). Great dough also will be with sour cream: mix 100-120 grams (1 piece) softened butter with 4-6 tablespoons of sugar, 1 cup of any sour cream and 2,5-3 cups of all-purpose flour. If you add 1/2-1 teaspoon of baking powder, croissants will be especially gentle 🙂 The dough before rolling put for half an hour in a refrigerator. During this time, prepare filling – grated or minced apples (+ sugar if desired). Cut the rolled dough into triangles of any size and turn, putting on the broad side 1-1/2 tsp of apple mince. You can add to the apple filling raisins or cinnamon, or you can use any jam + or instead. Put the croissants in the pre-heat (180-200C/350-370F) oven for 15-25 minutes. Ready croissants you can sprinkle with powdered sugar.
