TASTY SWEET ROLL. Fast. Without yeast :)

Remarkably sweet roll with raisins and cinnamon, airy and soft as from yeast dough. But there is no yeast! Recipe is my own. Everything is very simple. Take:

any vegetable oil or soften butter  80-60 g (1/3-1/4 cup)

Sugar about 100 g (1/3-1/2 cup)

Sour cream or plain yogurt 150 g (2/3 cup)

2 tsp. of baking powder or baking soda + 2 tbs. of lemon (or orange) juice

1 tsp. of vanilla extract

2-3 cups of all-purpose flour

You can add 1 egg also

Mix liquid and dry ingredients separately and combine. If dough is too dense, add several spoons of milk, yogurt or orange juice. The dough has to be as yeast dough by touch. Roll the dough less than 1 cm (about 1 finger), strew with cinnamon and raisins, curtail. You can use also dried cherry, apricots or dates instead raisins. If you use only cinnamon, add sugar. The dough can be also greased with butter before topping. Respectively, result can be different a little (on the photo roll with grape seeds oil, yogurt and egg), but will be tasty in any case 🙂

Bake at 180C/350F about 30-40 minutes. Grease hot chubby body of the roll with butter (top only). The roll is fine and tasty +2 days. Store at room temp. or in a fridge, it doesn’t matter in this case 🙂
